在本届E3大展上，微软利用了一整天的时间大谈游戏，而微软在游戏领域的另一大竞争对手索尼却借此大会向与会者介绍了诸多未来仅仅会在PlayStation平台播放的电影和电视剧。

事实上，索尼在过去采用的以游戏为中心的战略已经成功帮助自己在游戏主机销量方面击败了微软Xbox One。但在本届E3展会上，这家日本企业似乎将自己的眼光放的更加长远，因为该公司重点讨论了包括PlayStation TV在内的硬件以及平台数字内容扩展方面的话题。

电视和电影

众所周知，索尼旗下的索尼影视娱乐(Sony Pictures Entertainment)已经在电影和电视制作方面建立起了自己的巨大人气。而现在，PlayStation也终于开始对自制节目大开绿灯。索尼在E3大展上宣布，首个获得“绿灯通过”的节目是超自然系列电视剧《Powers》，该剧集总共拥有两季，将针对PlayStation平台进行独家播放。

据悉，《Powers》这是一部由漫威系列漫画作家布莱恩-迈克尔-本迪斯（Brian Michael Bendis）漫画作品而改编的剧集。该剧以一个充满特异功能人士的虚构世界作为背景，主角则是在这个世界中跟犯罪打交道的两名侦探。消息指出，《Powers》目前正处于选角阶段，并预计于今年11月在PlayStation平台上线，而本迪斯本人则将担当这部剧集的监制。

索尼表示，所有PlayStation用户都可以免费观看《Powers》的首集内容，而以50美元年费订阅了PlayStation Network服务的用户则可以免费观看全部剧集。同时，PS平台经典游戏《瑞奇与叮当》（Ratchet and Clank）也将在日后被制作成电影，并针对PlayStation独家播放。

PlayStation TV

PlayStation TV最早于去年登陆日本市场，索尼称由于这款产品市场反响相当不错因此而决定在今年晚些时候将其带到北美市场。索尼介绍称，PlayStation TV可以允许PlayStation用户将游戏输出到任何一台同PlayStation设备关联的电视中。而且，PlayStation TV还可以兼容PlayStation Now平台的流媒体游戏。

据悉，PlayStation TV的单机售价仅为99美元，如果玩家选择139美元的套装的话则将拥有一个Dual Shock 3手柄、8GB闪存卡以及《乐高电影》游戏的兑换券。

Project Morpheus

在本届E3大展上，索尼还谈到了专为PS4打造的虚拟现实头戴式显示器Project Morpheus。据悉，Project Morpheus的研发目的是同Oculus Rift展开直接竞争，而所有参加E3的与会人员都可以在展台上试用这一全新设备。然而，索尼并没有公布有关这一尚处于原型机阶段设备的推出日期、售价和第三方开发商兼容游戏等信息。

PlayStation Network

索尼表示，95%的PlayStation设备都连接了互联网，因此该公司将利用这一巨大优势大力打造流媒体游戏服务。当地时间周一，索尼宣布旗下PlayStation Now流媒体游戏服务将不仅仅兼容PS4，同时还将兼容PS3和PS Vita，并在7月31日率先在美国和加拿大市场开始试运行。同时，Youtube应用也将在今年晚些时候登陆PS4平台。

更为重要的是，索尼宣布PlayStation Now将在未来兼容部分索尼电视（未公布具体型号）。这也就是说，今后没有PlayStation的用户也能够在特定电视上享受索尼的流媒体游戏服务。显而易见的是，索尼希望通过这一战略促使那些尚未购买PlayStation的用户花钱购买一款游戏主机。
