时间轴功能本应与Windows 10秋季创意者更新一并提供，该功能允许Windows 10系统用户跨设备恢复应用程序以及操作，在搭载Windows 10的设备之间切换，新的设备会同步用户上一台设备的使用状态，该功能还有望同步到iOS/安卓设备上的部分微软应用程序，类似于iOS与macOS上的continuity功能。

在最新的Windows 10版本中，可以通过任务视图访问时间轴功能，该功能提供了用户最近操作任务的概览，包含在特定时间在Win10 PC上运行的应用程序，用户可以在新PC上直接恢复此前查看的选项卡，得益于时间轴功能，小娜还将提示用户进行同步。

微软还在测试应用程序标签功能，该功能可以将多个系统UI集成在一个系统窗口当中显示，微软称该功能可能会在发布时进行更名，该功能可以实现便捷访问多个界面，目前的消息是只支持windows系统程序，明年将扩展到Ofiice家族以及传统win32位程序。
