诺基亚在近期新闻稿中表示，宣布与爱立信、英特尔合作开发Narrow-Band Long-Term Evolution (NB-LTE) 技术，作为物联网(IoT) 细分市场的理想无线连接解决方案。

国内的华为也有类似技术，但NB-LTE有着低成本、易用性和功耗低的优势，因此非常适合物联网(IoT) 细分市场。Nokia 和 Ericsson提供所需网络升级支持，Intel提供支持NB-LTE技术的芯片和产品升级。
